STRING FIGURES - INTENSIVE
Welcome to Games of the World

This full day of learning to make String Figures and doing String Magic will stay with you forever.  Strings are the best way I know to get a point across.  The shapes you will learn can be used just for fun, to empower young people, or to process a group.  Come spend an entire day with Mike and learn about the history of String Play and take away several stories that you can tell your group while illustrating the story using string figures.  You will also learn over a dozen magic tricks using the string and a ring.  Did you know that Shakespeare spoke of the use of strings in his body of works?  It's true! 
You will learn how to team build using a long rope tied into a loop.  We will make a giant Eiffel Tower, a huge Star, a massive Jacob's Ladder and more.
Mike has been doing string since he was a Boy Scout way back when.  
Come for morning coffee as we sit by the fire-ring to start the day.  We have lunch from noon to 1 PM and we finish with a night fire and story telling. 
Feel free to stay the night in your own tent if you want.  This training is very informal so come dressed to walk the trails, sit in the dirt or pull up the lounge chairs for more learning.  This education about Strings and String usage will last you a lifetime.
