What a wonderful find this was for me.  I was in need of  a relaxing day and this great place gave it to me.
I walked in the cool morning along the village lanes and was greeted by the locals that told me all about the house, store, farm,
 saloon, church, school house and about life in general in this pre-civil war village-town. 
I suggest highly that you plan to see the Old Bethpage Village Restoration sometime in your life. 
I needed some fresh air and relaxation and I found it here in the beautiful part of Long Island. 
Come walk with me as I take you through the village and you will see what I saw - so nice!
